Eagle Hills appoints M’hammed El Merini as General Manager of Eagle Hills Morocco

Rabat, Morocco; 25 November 2015 - Eagle Hills, the UAE based private investment and real estate development company, has appointed Mr. M’hammed El Merini as the General Manager of Eagle Hills Morocco Properties. He brings a wealth of development experience and expertise to the ongoing developments in Morocco.                  

Mr. El Merini is the main representative of Eagle Hills in Morocco overseeing all projects in the country, including La Marina development which was announced earlier this year. He will also manage the Eagle Hills Morocco operations.

Mr. El Merini graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering from Ecole Hassania des Travaux Publics, one of the most respected engineering schools in Morocco and also holds an MBA from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in France.

Over the course of his early career within the Moroccan Ministry of Public Works, Mr. El Merini coordinated a number of pilot programs aimed to integrate the concepts of sustainable development before moving to the private sector in 1998. In 2003, he joined the CDG group, where he sequentially worked as Director of the water and environment division at SCET-Maroc, a leading engineering firm. Since 2006, he worked as Deputy General Manager of CGI, the main real estate company of the group. In 2010, he was appointed General Manager of Al Manar Development Company, a subsidiary of CGI in charge of the mixed use project Casablanca Marina.

Mr. El Merini is currently the President of the Ecole Hassania Alumni Association and a member of the Executive Board of the Diplomatic Foundation.
